कथा – कडवीनआजी    तुम्ही कथेचे नाव वाचताच तुम्हाला वाटले असेल कडू म्हणजे काय ? आजी कधी कडू असते का ? तर तसे नाही. ही कथा आहे सौ. लक्ष्मीबाई कडू ह्या स्त्रीची आहे. माझ्या बालपणात भेटलेली ही आजी. तर जाणू  या हिच्याविषयी. कोकणातील रत्नागिरी जिल्ह्यातील तरसव गावातील कडवाडी म्हणून कुणबी समाजाची ही वाडी होती. ह्या वाडी मध्ये सुंदर असे जांबा दगडाचे चिरेबंदी असे घर होते. स्वतंत्र पूर्व काळातले घर म्हणजे श्रीमंती दरवाजामध्ये लोळत होती. कुणबी समाजातील हे खोतांना टक्कर देणारे असे घर होते. सौ. लक्ष्मीबाई मारुतीराव कडू लग्न करून आमच्या गावात आली आणि सर्वांची आई व माझी आजी कशी झाली ही एक कथा आहे.                               श्री. मारुती कडू हे आपल्याला स्वतंत्र मिळण्या अगोदरपासून कस्टम विभागात अधिकारी होते, त्या काळातील पदवीधर त्यामुळे पगार भरपूर होती. मुंबईला जाऊन नोकरी करणारे गावातले एकमेव व्यक्ती होते.  खूप सुखाचा संसार चालला होता. त्यांचे हे वैभव ...
