Do we have control over it?
Think about it …….
Life is actually a vicious circle of our thoughts, actions, reactions and effects. We live a mechanical life where, most of the times our thoughts rule us, our actions are slave to other’s reactions and the effects are the gains we get out of it. We spend more than half of our life thinking about what others will say and the remaining years regretting on what we
have done the entire life. Expectations are the bridge for rising problems.
What are expectations? Expectations are nothing but our demands from life and when things don’t go as per our expectations, we complain. We then, forget that life is a gift given to us by God. It is unique, special and as pure as it is. It is our responsibility to create it magnificently.
We are the architects of our own lives.
Then how do we enjoy life?
Simple, let us stop expecting and start living. Start finding happiness in small things. Show love, affection and care for the people around us, because we just have one life and we should remember it is precious. Why must we live life king size? When we can live life king style. We should reduce our expectations and be content. If we start practicing this, life will be better and happier. Whatever we have we must make the best of it, show gratitude for it and share it.
Make the little things count rather than counting on the big things you desire. Connect
with
everyone, not because they
need you, but
because you need them.
Don’t worry about
your actions, stop thinking about reactions
and make as many mistakes
as you can because
you have just one life to live, learn
and achieve. Learn from your mistakes, but remember not to repeat them. We must remember ‘To err is
human’. Lead
life in a way that you set an example
for others. Share your problems and fears, not for solutions, but to laugh over them and overcome them by facing them. Life is very short to complain, let’s enjoy every
crest and trough on this roller coaster journey.
A famous quote states – “ENJOY THE LITTLE THINGS
IN LIFE…. FOR ONE DAY YOU WILL LOOK BACK
AND REALIZE THAT THEY WERE THE BIG THINGS…..”
